* Special Recognition from Page County High School for "outstanding service" to the school's academic and athletic programs;
* Special Recognition from Spotswood High School for "outstanding support and service" of the school's academic and athletic programs; and,
* Special Recognition from the Greene County School Board for "meritorious service" to the County's schools.
He also has served as or currently serves as:
* A member of the First Night Virginia Board of Directors (2008-2009);
* A member of the Greene Education Foundation Board of Directors (2005-2006);
* A member of the Greene County Recreation Board of Directors (2004-2006);
* A volunteer soccer coach with the Greene County Department of Parks & Recreation and the Soccer Association of Charlottesville and Albemarle (SOCA) (2000-2008); and,
* A member of Maple Grove Christian Church (1994-1996, 2002-present).
